Strong clover for bee feeding and cover crop. This is a great spring or fall green manure because of its quick development in cool conditions. Gorgeous red spikes make lovely cut flowers. Numerous species of bees are attracted to flowers due to their abundance of nectar. greater resistance to disease than other annual clovers.
Clover can be planted from late winter through early fall. Keep the plot routinely mowed, and by midsummer, the clover will have outcompeted the weeds.
